The Office of Research Compliance Assessment, Sponsored Programs will present a seminar on standard operating procedures on Thursday, November 5th from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the UHealth Campus, 1400 N.W. 10 Avenue, Dominion Tower, 12th floor conference room. This lecture will show participants how they can help University research teams understand the importance of standard operating procedures, considerations for the creation of new procedures, who should be involved in the process and possible pitfalls.

Miami Neonatology 2009 - November 12-14, Miami Beach, FloridaThe Miami Neonatology 2009 Conference is designed to provide medical professionals with comprehensive knowledge of the leading trends and best practices in neonatology, highlighting the most current concepts in the pathogenesis, management and prevention of problems in the newborn infant. Iberoamerican Society for Prenatal Diagnosis and Treatment - December 6-8, 2009, Miami, Florida
The VIII Annual Meeting of the Iberoamerican Society for Prenatal Diagnosis and Treatment (Sociedad Iberoamericana de Diagnostico y Tratamiento Prenatal – SIADTP) will be held December 6-8, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Miami, Florida.
Led by Rubén Quintero, M.D., professor of obstetrics and gynecology and director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, SIADTP is a non-profit organization whose objective is to promote education and research in the field of prenatal diagnosis and therapy in the Americas, Portugal, Spain, and Italy. The meeting, which is open to members and non-members, will include courses in fetal echocardiography and neurosonography, first trimester screening, and oral and poster presentations that reflect the latest advances in the field.
