In its role as the keystone department of UHealth – University of Miami Health System, the Department of Medicine delivers leading-edge patient care by top ranked physicians. It is powered by the Miller School of Medicine and its more than 50 years of commitment to excellence in research and medical education.

Over the course of the last year, the Department of Medicine has cultivated and attracted leadership for its programs from among the best and brightest in both academic research and clinical application.  This new infusion of talent has propelled  an extremely rapid period of growth with recruitment of more than 100 new faculty as we pursue our vision to “take care of patients we will never see”.
