Personalized HIV and Addiction Services Expansion
Project PHASE is a federally funded program offering free assessment, case management, referral/linkage, and counseling to residents of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties in Florida. The goals of the program are to 1) Enhance the intensity and quality of HIV/SA services through the addition of state-of-the-art pretreatment services and expansion of outreach and assessment services, 2) Expand HIV/SA treatment capacity in conjunction with HIV/AIDS services embedded within a comprehensive, integrated, creative and community-based response for 8,500 racially diverse adults over a 5-year period (inclusive of outreach), and 3) Create efficiencies and demonstrate success in referral, engagement and retention beyond substance abuse treatment.
Countering Homelessness: Opportunities In Counseling and Employment
Project CHOICE is a federally funded program offering evidence-based services including case management, referrals and counseling to homeless adults in the Florida counties of Escambia and Santa Rosa. The goal of the project is to “expand and strengthen effective, culturally-appropriate treatment services for homeless individuals with substance abuse or co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders.
Substance-abuse, HIV/Hepatitis Assessment & Prevention Education
Project SHAPE is a federally funded, free service targeting communities of color disproportionately affected by HIV/Hepatitis and substance abuse in Escambia County, FL. The project proposes to serve re-entry minority populations and at least three communities of color within Escambia County Florida disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and substance abuse.
